Translating always involves two texts – the source text and target text – meaning that errors can arise from various sources. Based on the four-eyes principle, I also offer editing and proofreading services. Editing is the process of crafting with a fine tool to improve style and coherence. When editing a translation, I make sure that there is a sense of rhythm and flow in each paragraph and sentence, and that the sentences connect with one another seamlessly. Proofreading is the final step and consists of a final check for errors in sentence structure, grammar, verb tense and punctuation, as well as any typos.
